Sport and Children
The Ultimate Goal has partnered with a variety of ministries from around South Africa in order to make materials and resources available to your church so that you can prepare a fantastic outreach programme during the FIFA 2010 World Cup™. Whether you want to run a programme for children during the school holidays, or a soccer outreach event into your local community, The Ultimate Goal can connect you with ministries that can facilitate your vision. Kids Games
The Ultimate Goal Service Provider: SCAS (Sport for Christ Action South Africa)
Kids Games is a worldwide phenomenon connecting children with Jesus using Sports & Games, the Bible, creativity and fun all integrated into an easy-to-run initiative.
Kids Games is a multi-day, multi-group, sport focused, Bible based, global initiative for children aged between 6-14 years.

TUG TRAILER MINISTRY
The “Ignite the flame 2010” trailer ministry is an exciting opportunity for churches to ignite the flame of evangelism across South Africa during the soccer event in 2010.
The central idea behind this ministry model is for resource churches to form partnerships with under-resourced churches with the primary aim of reaching many people for Christ in 2010 and beyond. Each trailer is a self contained ministry module, jam-packed with resources, tools and equipment. Such a trailer will enable a team to enter an area, care for themselves and minister to the local community without being a burden to the local church. As teams partner with under-resourced churches, the aim is that these churches would be inspired and encouraged to take hold of the ministry opportunities which present themselves and continue to impact their communities for Christ.

SOCCER CAMPS
The Ultimate Goal Service Provider: Ambassadors in Sport (AIS)
Ambassadors Soccer Camps are designed to give young developing soccer players (aged 7-15) an opportunity to learn basic and advanced soccer skills in a fun and encouraging environment.
The fundamentals of soccer are taught with the emphasis on sportsmanship and character based on biblical principles from God’s Word.
Split into junior and senior divisions each child will be placed into a team and have their own coach for the whole week (maximum of 10 children per coach). After a morning spent acquiring and developing new skills you will have the opportunity to play in our world cup competition, as well as exploring some of the Bibles greatest characters. You will also have the opportunity to show off your new found skills in our competition day where you can show us that you are the next Ronaldo or Modise.
We have two curriculum developed for The Ultimate Goal and churches can choose to either run it around the theme of “The story of Jonah” or “The Armour of God”.

UBABALO eAfrica
The Ultimate Goal Service Provider: Ubabalo eAfrica
Ubabalo eAfrica is a programme which aims to transform African youth through whole life coaching. Each soccer skill is related to biblical values and life skills which are integrated into the bi-weekly soccer training. The soccer coach is trained and provided whole life coaching resources to enable him to conduct Bible-based discipleship with his soccer team.

COACHING CLINICS
The Ultimate Goal Service Provider: Upward Sports South Africa
Upward Clinics are fun filled sports outreaches which churches can use to impact the children and families of their community. Upward is designed to assist you reach boys and girls between to ages of 5 & 13 in a way which is relevant and attractive. A typical Upward Clinic, which is available in Soccer and Cricket, is run for 3-5 days for three hours a day. Upward will provide you and your church with everything you need to implement this ministry effectively, from advertising and devotional curriculum right through to coaching material, leadership training for your volunteers and player kits for the children.
